Update on the city manager search

In late 2022, former city manager Matt Greeson resigned to accept the city manager position at Kettering, Ohio. Council has been working through a process to select a new city manager. We interviewed several firms who specialize in city manager searches and selected Management Advisory Group from central Ohio. The next steps is soliciting applications followed by interviewing qualified candidates. The process for selecting a new city manager (starting from hiring the search firm) is expected to be 12-16 weeks.
